On Friday, May 05, 2006 flyaxa had this to say about LDJ... Recently I flew to Newark NJ for a meeting. The airports listed were Morristown, Linden, and Newark. The meeting was at Newark International but there were time restrictions for landing. After talking to individuals in the area, I chose LDJ and was not disappointed. I filed IFR and the controllers were helpful until I had LDJ in sight and cancelled. LDJ is very busy with helicopters in the area, however, everyone was courteous, communicating their intentions. After pulling up to the tanks, the staff fueled the plane and then assisted with the tiedown. They also exceeded my expectations. My passenger left an object behind. We called the FBO and they mailed the item to me. I asked questions about clearance delivery and the staff was able to offer recommendations. I would recommend Linden to any one flying into the New York City area.
