On Saturday, February 23, 2008 gene45 had this to say about TGI... Anyone who lands on TGI talks about the bumps. When landing on 02 there are two bumps one is enough to force a C-172 at 30 to 40 mph to go airborne. I treat it as a bounce and let it settle back down. When landing on 20 there is no taxiway so you must back taxi to the parking area. There is a restricted area over the area at 3500 ft. but 1 mile west of the area the restricted area is ground up. Be aware and ask for permissions if the area is cold they will give you permission to use the airspace. Patuxent Approach 120.05 Good crabs in season!
