Questions & Answers about Montgomery Field (MYF) in SAN DIEGO, CA:

flying into San Diego
On Thursday, June 07, 2007, craigdjackson asked this question about MYF...
I am flying the family into San Diego in early July. Planning on tying down at either MYF or CRQ. I have never flown in the Southern CA area and am looking for general advice, best routes, dealing with ATC, etc. We are flying from Northern Utah and probably refueling around Saint George. Will be VFR. I have some concerns about all of the MOA's and Restricted areas around Vegas, as well as the Grand Canyon area. Any pointers would be very helpful. Thanks
